YOURLS (Your Own URL Shortener) is a self-hosted, open-source platform for creating custom short URLs with tracking capabilities, often used for marketing and link management purposes. Users have full control and can host it on their own server for maximum customization and data privacy.
Warning: We offer support for YOURLS as a custom shortener solution. However, for any other scripts or systems, we do not provide support. Please keep this in mind when configuring your shortening options.
For Own Shortner to work, ensure you've added your Own Shortner and then select Own Shortner in Affiliate Settings > General This configuration will enable Own Shortner functionality.
Setup Yourls in Affiliaters
Go to Shortner and go to Own Shortner. Here you need to add username and password and your website url
How to setup Yourls into Cpanel
Note: To utilize YOURLS as your custom shortener, you must have a domain and cPanel hosting. Configuration on platforms other than cPanel will be your responsibility. Ensure you have the necessary setup for a seamless experience.
Go to cPanel of your website and then find Softaculous apps installer
Then find Yourls in Softaculous apps installer
Then press Install Now button
Select your Domain where you want to Host Yourls script. Enter Username and Password. Enter website URL, Username and Password.
